This stage will pass through
The second stage of the raid will be a MTB from Cuntis going southwest, until reaching Ribadumia village by the sea.
The teams will make a tour through the typical characteristics of Galician lands, where they will pass across numerous small villages, going constantly uphill and downhill through Galician mounts.
The teams will finish the tour rising to Castrove's top, 613 m high, and practically at the foot of Pontevedra’s ría. The teams will pick here one specific orienteering map and will run using the map of La Escusa. Along this tour it is possible to enjoy the magnificent views, both of Pontevedra and Arousa rías and the mountains of O Morrazo and O Barbanza.
After this specific orienteering the teams will descend towards the north of the mount of La Escusa and will cross the final part of the stage through the Route of the Stone and the Water on the banks of the Armenteira River arriving finally to Ribadumia.
Ribadumia belongs to Salnés’ region and is bathed also by the river Umia. A great part of these lands are used for vine growing and the elaboration of wines as the Albariño or the well-known Barrantes red wine.
