S8 - The path of the waterfalls
In section 8, the racers will ride their bicycles to complete what will be again a long section, in which they will have to cross again more than 100 kilometers and more than 3,000 meters of positive ascent.
They will begin the section going inland until reach the northern part of the Serra do Xistral, which they must cross and to return to the sea again.
Throughout this section the teams will find several CPs located in beautiful cascades, such as the Pozo da Onza, the Pozo da Ferida or the Fervenza do Escouridal.
In the last part of the section they will go to the coast of Xove and will come back to the "Camino Natural del Cantábrico" to bike toward the sports port of Viveiro, from where they will only last one more section to finish the race course.
