S2 - Serra do Xistral - The galician "highlands"
From Viveiró we start the first trekking of the race with 40 kilometers, in which we will cross the Serra do Xistral and we will reach the village of Mondoñedo.
Serra do Xistral is characterized by its mountains of open terrain, so we are probably in front of the trekking section where the teams will have to demonstrate their best navigation skills, since much of the route will be off-paths.
The teams will have to take with them in this section the ropes kit, since in the CP8 there will be a rappel of 50 meters of descent.
