Tierra Indómita - Vulcania | Aysen

The Aysen team is comprised of Kony Ulloa (29), Daniel Ramírez (38), Paulo Moreno (48), and Piero Caviglia (46), all hailing from Cochrane and Coyhaique in the heart of Chilean Patagonia. While all members have several expeditions under their belt, Kony is the newest in expedition racing, showing great attitude and both physical and mental strength. Daniel is the strongest physically, also contributing his share of humor and constant encouragement. Paulo, the navigator, will seek to lead again in the challenging orienteering conditions of the race. Piero is the team captain, aiming to complement the team’s strengths. The team demonstrates a good balance in all disciplines, with race conditions similar to their training grounds. “More than aiming for a place in the race, we hope to execute a well-planned race without navigation errors, distributing efforts, breaks, and nutrition. We are excited to have the opportunity to compete and face the great challenge that Nelson, the race director, has prepared for this edition.”
